AW96 Dirk Bikkembergs Tall Bungee Cord Boots with Steel Cut Heel

Dirk Bikkembergs was a member of the famous Antwerp Six, a group of graduates who finished their studies at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1981.

Starting his eponymous label in the late 1980s, he only really started gaining traction during the mid 1990s for his unique utilitarian and military styled designs that often incorporated elements of sports and excercise.

This pair of famous boots, known to anyone interested in fashion, come in exceptional condition considering its age. With the original bungee cords intact and included, these boots are in excellent, almost new condition. Minor repairs were made to ensure the condition and timeliness of the boots.

This variant is pretty rare, I have only seen 5-6 pairs up on the internet, because most bungee boots go up to your ankle, while these reach your calves.
